Technical Editing
I provide a technical editing service for knitting patterns to ensure that they are accurate and consistently compiled. This can also include charts and schematic checking. In addition to this I am able to create charts and schematics for you if required and grade garments for multiple sizes.
I can check all garment types in multiple sizes, socks, homewear items, accessories, bags, toys and anything else knitted and cover all techniques including cable, lace, fairisle, intarsia, working flat or in the round, top down or bottom up.
I will ensure that your patterns are set out in a logical way using your own style, that they are clear and consistent and suitable for your required audience.
Teaching
I teach knitting and crochet workshops in the East Sussex area. Knitting subjects can cover beginners knitting, lace, cables, fairisle, intarsia, knitting with beads, socks, gansey knitting, double knitting (the technique not the yarn!), brioche and many more.
Crochet subjects include beginners crochet, crochet with beads, amigurumi toys, mosaic crochet, mandala blankets and much more. I can also teach Tunisian crochet which uses a long hook and is a combination between knitting and crochet.
